PPDO Divisions
Administrative and IT Services Division
The General Administrative and Information Technology Services headed by EnP Jean Juana P. Jardin, acted mainly on the supervision on the posting and recording of expenditures and balances regarding personnel services, maintenance operating expenses and capital outlays including various projects and maintenance of system filing and recording in support to the 3 divisions of the Provincial Planning and Development Office. The Division is assigned in the creation and maintenance of the computerized data system, which includes generation of forms, reports and databases needed in the preparation of different activities of the province, as well as development works for the provincial government such as data base of planning, research and statistics, project development, evaluation and monitoring, geographic information system, National Government Agency & provincial department reports and communications, letters, memoranda and other related reports. The General Admin did most of the property procurement and performed information technology functions and served as secretariat to various development councils.
Plans and Promotions Division
Plans and Promotions Division is responsible for the development planning and coordination services as well as the programming and implementation of various programs, projects and activities. The Division also served as the secretariat to the Provincial Development Council meetings and PDC sectoral committee meetings. The Division prepared PDC Resolutions from PDC meetings. For various development programs, projects and activities, the Division reviewed Sangguniang Bayan Resolutions from the 12 municipalities in the province and and endorsed the same to the Sangguniang Panlalawigan for their appropriate action. Also, they prepared Public Financial Management Assessment Tool (PFMAT) forms to include indicator forms 1.1, 1.3 and 7.1 and submitted on time to the Provincial Budget Office for consolidation. Annual Development Program was also prepared by the Division.
Research and Statistics Division
Research and Statistics Division updates yearly the tools for development planning to provide researchers, students and even PPDO staff with necessary data for development planning. The division supports the annual celebration of Statistics Month in October of every year. This year under report, the Division conducted various activities in celebration of Statistics Month, to include hanging of streamers, statistical exhibit and the highlight of the celebration. This Division also provided technical assistance to municipalities and a partner of the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) especially in the context of Community Based Monitoring System (CBMS). The division id headed by Statistician IV Emmalyn Y. Quinones.
Project Development and Evaluation Division
Project Development and Evaluation Division prepares project proposals, concept notes, comprehensive project profiles development projects of the Department. The Division monitors and evaluates all programs, projects and activities of the Provincial Government and National Government Agencies. PDED is header by EnP King Eliser Papango, which also leads the Provincial Project Monitoring Committee Secretariat of the province.
Housing and Home Regulatory Division
The Housing and Home Regulatory Division is a newly established unit in PPDO which aimed to help the Project Management Office who's in charge of the Provincial Government Housing programs and projects. The division is headed by EnP Chinglou Q. Indias. Their main function is to identify properties for land acquisition and also conduct profiling of qualified beneficiaries for the Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Filipino Program.
