The Provincial Planning and Development Office (PPDO) is mandated to coordinate with all the offices and departments of the Provincial Government, other line agencies, and different stakeholders to assure that the projects, activities and programs focus on the attainment of the LGU’s vision, goals and objectives.

 

PPDO is headed by the Provincial Planning and Development Coordinator and is assisted by the Assistant PPDC who works in synergy to achieve major final outputs resulting in a very satisfactory rating for this reporting period of every fiscal year.

 

The Office is supported by an Administrative and Information Technology Services Division (AITS) which administers general clerical works, records management, procurement and maintenance of supplies and office equipment, provision of information technology functions and secretariat for development meetings, conferences, trainings and seminars.

 

For the technical aspect, the Office has four divisions, namely; 1 - Plans and Promotion Division, 2 - Research and Statistics Division, 3 - Project Development and Evaluation Division and 4 - Housing and Home Regulatory Division. These divisions are manned by planning professionals from varied fields of expertise like environmental planning, engineering, economics, statistics and housing services, among others.
